01475-Episode 1
Gigs are back people!
B12Entertainment hosted their first, lifted restriction gig of 2021! With a lineup made for pure madness in the name of music, only a good night could have been had at The Gin House, Greenock.
Opening the night was Inverclyde's cool chick, Maya Jane. Performing a mix of her own music such as hit single ‘Every day the same’, as well as covers of the likes of Arctic Monkeys. Although the youngest of the line-up, Maya Jane sure wasn’t one to be missed! With a crowd of all ages, this baddie gave us energy from start to finish!
Next up, we have mystery boys, The Lines! After primary research, I can confidently say that there is no death jazz involved in the making of this music. What is involved is pure passion & a lot of moshing. Performing their own music, the guys made sure the crowd showed no signs of reaching for their seats. After performing at venues such as Callums Cavern & Ivory Blacks, the boys were loving the change of scenery in Greenock!
Headlining the gig was Greenocks latest up-and-coming indie rock band, Strange Dimensions. After over a year of rehearsing, writing & recording in lockdown, these guys were ready to perform for a crowd & boy did they deliver! A setlist of fan favourites, Strange Dimensions gave the crowd no chance of missing a single tune!
A night full of energy that has been missing the start of Miss Rona, the 01475 gigs are not ones to be missed. Raising a stunning £1048.56 for Man On Inverclyde and Women's Aid, B12Entertainment deserves a massive round of applause.
