The Great Leslie: Out of My Hands

The Great Leslie.

London- based alt-rockers are here to rock our worlds. With their blend of classic rock, blues and pop, it won’t be long before we all know The Great Leslie name.

In 2020, The Great Leslie released their latest single ‘Out of My Hands’ a dream pop-rock single. But before we get into that, let's discuss the success of these rockstars. The Great Leslie band have seen success in all directions. From continuous airplay on the number 1 rock radio station, Planet Rock, to being the stars of BBC Introducing Suffolk its clear you don’t want to be sleeping on these guys!

As we all know, every band has their strengths and I must say, performing live at the Summerhouse Studios, The Great Leslie prove that live gigs are theirs. Oozing sheer confidence, I truly cannot wait to see what these guys can do on a stage. Before Miss Rona entered the chat, the band were playing The Camden Assembly, The Raven and The Hope & Anchor! As I said, rockstars. Now, the guys are looking to build their audience and to bring us more music.

Back to the star of the show, 2020 single ‘Out of My Hands’. The single is a summer anthem just waiting to be sung by thousands at a festival. With the perfect amount of scratchy electric guitar and glorious drums beats, the single scratches every itch us alt-rock lovers have. Now, when you dive down the rabbit hole of The Great Leslie band and their music you will notice that this single hits ina different way. Having a more pop-focus ‘Out of My Hands’ is perfect for those looking to enter the world of rock. Although, the boys do keep their classic rock edge.

'Get lost in the maze of my mind, & I get a little depressed sometimes'

Since early 2019, the band have been perfecting their sound taking inspiration from classic rock, psychedelic rock, pop-punk and various other genres and man does it sound delicious. Introducing poetry into their lyrics, they have become relatable to the masses. With frontman Ollie Trevers vocals giving us very much Guns ‘n’ Roses/ Greta Van Fleet vibes and their sex appeal which can rival that of The Struts, it's hard to not want more.
